a new faith community

Friends,
We are well on our way to start a new faith community in the old Munger Place church building! Here's what's been happening recently:

• We had 250 people attend our Munger open house on March 28. It was a great day, and I think we all left fired up!\
• We are forming strong relationships with our neighborhood. We have offered to help neighborhood organizations with some events they're doing, we have a Bible study that meets in a young couple's house (2 blocks from the church), Kate Miner, our music director, has been playing music in local restaurants, and we have begun a partnership with Exodus Ministries Dallas, an organization that supports women who have recently been released from prison.
• Renovations have finally begun (click here for more pics) and we are really excited about the plan. We are working hard to highlight all the best parts of the old building and pay homage to its traditional character. You'll love the way the church will look when renovations are finished!
